Merry Christmas

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will be out of town for a few days during the Christmas break, so I wanted to go ahead and send out a Merry Christmas Blog. The pictures posted are of a little photo shoot we did last weekend. Have a great day.

"Oh I was born a rambling man...."

Hello. I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I don't have any pictures to post because I only took one. I know what was I thinking. We had a great Thanksgiving, and of course we went on our annual Black Friday run.
Brody is now 10 months old, and I can't believe it. He is doing so many things. He is walking now. He started that on his 10 month birthday. He is saying mama, and when he puts a phone up to his ear he says hi. He will use anything as a phone: remote control, fake chicken leg, anything.
The videos I posted are of him walking and helping me with the clothes. Now that he is a bi-ped, he loves to see what all he can get into. I hope you enjoy the footage.

9 month report

I can't believe that Brody is now 9 months old. He is doing so much stuff. He is into everything. He is almost wanting to take a step. We went to the doctor yesterday for his check-up. He is doing really well. He weighs 21 lbs 10 ozs (75%). He is 291/2 inches long (90%), and his head circumference is in the 97%. I hope you enjoy the video. I can not get enough of this laugh.

Frosty Time

Saturday, Brody enjoyed one of the finer things in life. He had a very little bit of a Wendy's Frosty. He loved it. He kept pulling my mom's arm toward him for more.

Engagement News

Exciting News. Michael and Britni are engaged. Michael is my cousin. They are getting married June 6th.

Jen and Joe are engaged. Jen is Bryan's sister for those that do not know. They plan on getting married June 27th.

So, June at our house is going to be insanely busy. At least they are not back to back. :)

I am so happy for both of them. Congratulations and love to you all.

Halloween Happenings

Happy Halloween everybody. We had a great Halloween. I only wish that Bryan was able to come Trunk or Treating with us. He had a football game that night. We had about three weekends of Halloween fun. It started with a hayride at Nana and Granddaddy's house. I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pics from that night. It was a lot of fun. Ms. Val and Kara did a great job. Then the next weekend we went to Cedar Hill Farms. Then it was Halloween Weekend. We had a party at work, and then we went to see Daddy. We had trunk or treating at church. It was an awesome turn out.

This is the cake that I made. I was decorating this cake at 11:30pm. The pumpkin is a result of a large hole in the cake.

Fun on the Farm

We had a great time this weekend with the folks at Cedar Hill Farms. Brody got to ride a pony and pet some goats. He loved the train ride. I hope that y'all are having a great fall.

Would you like a steak?

This is not the greatest picture in the world, but I wanted to get a picture of him on the day his teeth arrived. The bottom two came in at the exact same time. Bless his little heart. Just the tops are in. His gums on the top are swollen in four places, so others are not far behind.
I can't believe that he is 8 months old, and will be nine months old next week. He is really moving around a lot. He is standing by himself for a long time. He is even standing from a sitting position without holding on to anything. He is still really surprised when he does this. I project that he will be walking before Thanksgiving.

I don't know why the next two pictures are so small. Carol took these when we went to visit her in Oxford. He loved being in the pumpkins.

7 months old...

Good afternoon everyone. I hope that y'all are all having a great day. I have been really bad at blogging lately. Sorry about that. I can't believe that Brody is going to be 8 months old next week. Time is going by too quickly.

He is crawling around like crazy. He follows me into every room that I go into. He is too cute. He is also clapping, and waving bye-bye at everything. When we leave in the mornings, he waves at the furniture. He is too precious.

These pictures are from the park. He loved to swing. His favorite was laying back and swinging with Mema.

These pictures are from a couple of saturdays ago. I put right in the middle of the sweet potato fields and he loved it.

He's on the move...

Well, folks our lives are going to get a lot crazier. Brody has started crawling, and pulling up to a standing position. Here is a video of him crawling. Have a great day.

Splish Splash I was taking a bath.....

I love this video. By the time the bath was over, there was hardly any water in the sink. He was doing some serious splashing. Have a wonderful day.

Play Time with Brody

Ok, I am going to try and upload this again. He loves playing with his crawling ball. He learned how to sit up from a laying down position, and he is almost crawling. He is just too much fun.

Sleepy Time

This is a picture of Brody on the way home from the babysitter. He loves to see puppy, and cuddles up and goes to sleep.

Six Months and Counting

Hello Eveyone,

I can't believe that my baby is six months old. I probably said that in the last post. At his six month check up he weighed in at 18lbs 8ozs, and is 26 3/4 inches long. He is in the 75th% for weight and height. His head circumference is 46cm. Holy Cow!! He is in the 95th% for head circumference. He started getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth. I really need to get a baby gate. :)

This is his new favorite place to be. A laundry basket.

Six Months Old

Hello Everyone,

I just thought that I would send a little quick hello from the six month old boy. I can not believe that he is six months old. He loves to eat. Loves it. Starts pitching a fit when the jar of food is empty. He loves to play peek-a-boo. He is sitting really well. We are starting to work on drinking out of a sippy cup. He is not too sure about that yet. He loves to give hugs.

A lot of Posting

Ok, I know that I have not posted in a long time, so I hope that this makes up for it. There are about 3 to 4 posts on here from today. I hope that you enjoy them as much I enjoyed posting them.

Another First

Brody had his first sink bath this weekend. I can't believe that he is already big enough to have a sink bath.


I also wanted to post a picture of him eating his first real food. Of course it was sweet potatoes. :)

First Day at the Zoo

This weekend we went with my mom and dad to the zoo. Brody loved it. He loves to be outside, so he had a great time.
